Peanut Patch Boiled Peanuts Roadside Stand at Old Town Revival

Old Town Revival: A Look into the Heart and Soul of a Community

The first weekend in November 2022, the quaint town of Cornelius, North Carolina came alive with the sounds of vintage motorcycles roaring through its streets.

Last year’s Old Town Revival was held Saturday, November 5th at Kenton Place and it was an event to remember. The festival offered a variety of activities that brought together motorcycle enthusiasts from around the area for a weekend of fun and memories that will last a lifetime.

Old Town Revival is a celebration of all things vintage motorcycling, from antique bikes to custom builds. It’s also a great opportunity for shops in the area to showcase their work and gain recognition in the motorcycle community.

This year’s event featured an array of vendors of apparel and accessories alongside uniquely delicious food trucks and more! The team here at Peanut Patch even stopped by to bring out our new Roadside Stand to serve up some Hot, Delicious, Boiled Peanuts to the community!

It was an excellent chance for attendees to take part in organized rides, swap meets, and special events like flat track racing and stunt shows. No Old Town Revival is complete without one of the main attractions: The Music!

This year’s musical lineup included some local talent such as Dinero Jones, Bart Lattimore, Stereo Dolls, The High Divers, and other live entertainers from across the country.

The live performances took place outdoors at Kenton Place at their beautiful stage throughout the day— meaning attendees were able to enjoy live music while sipping on craft beers or browsing through all of the unique items from local artisans.

The Old Town Revival is more than just a festival; it’s a collective effort to celebrate culture and bring people together in one place. Throughout the event, there were numerous opportunities for attendees to get involved with community initiatives such as volunteering at the local food bank or helping out with cleanup efforts after each day’s festivities ended.

If you weren’t able to attend this year’s revival, check out some highlights from the event below, you may even see a few familiar faces!
