Exciting News for Racing Fans: The Peanut Patch 99 Season Opener!

Some say those that live “By the Grace of God and 600 Horsepower” are nuts. Well, it’s just fitting then, that the 2024 season opener for the SMART Modified Tour powered by Pace-O-Matic will now be the Peanut Patch 99.

The SMART Mods have reached an agreement with Peanut Patch to become the title sponsor of the event on Saturday, March 2, at Florence Motor Speedway in South Carolina.

“Peanut Patch is honored to be kicking off the SMART Tour season right here in our very own hometown at the Florence Motor Speedway. We love to “Eat & Greet” with our fans, so we’re gonna make sure that everyone who wants a free sample gets one,” said Brian Hodges, Brand Manager for Peanut Patch. “We’re proud that Boiled Peanuts are the Official Snack of South Carolina and now we are also the Official Snack of SMART Racing…so, ‘Ladies & Gentlemen, Let’s Get BOILIN!”

“I am excited to have Peanut Patch with the SMART Tour. Partnering with our opening race and continuing throughout the season will be delicious,” said Chris Williams, Series Director, with a smile. “Pat and Brian understand the strength of their brand and will have a meaningful impact for our fan base on and off the track. We are looking forward to kicking off the season with the Peanut Patch 99 at Florence. Let’s get Boilin”

Entertainment for the fans in the stands and those watching the SMART Modified high-powered action on FloRacing is what it’s all about.

“Over the years, Peanut Patch has grown to become The South’s Favorite Snack… ‘From Roadside Stands To Kettles & Cans!’ Southern Modified auto racing has also grown to be the ‘South’s Favorite Racing,” said Pat Coyne, (a.k.a. “Peanut Pat), who is leading the innovative brand building for Peanut Patch. “We’re a natural fit and think it’s a SMART idea to team up with the SMART Tour! Race tracks and tailgaters are also the perfect places to enjoy Peanut Patch with family & friends, so you’ll be seeing our kettles popping up at many race track concession stands this year. When you’re there, also look for our traveling “Roadside Stand” where you’ll get free samples, music & more!”

More details regarding Peanut Patch and SMART will be announced soon, including ways you can enjoy this delicious snack at events this upcoming season.
